Our primary aim is to encourage each Melkbosser to be a self-confident, inquiring, tolerant, positive young boy or girl; a well-rounded character with an independent mind; an individual who respects the differences of others. By the time he or she leaves the school, we want each boy or girl to have that true sense of self-worth which will enable him/her to stand up for him/herself and for a purpose greater than him/herself, and, in doing so, be of value to society.

I think the point of education is to prepare young people for success as adults in both their personal lives and their professional ones. Academic results are important for us and will continue to be so, but young people need to develop character and attitude along with their intelligence.
